This donation was also part of a broader charitable effort, as the Lodge also recently contributed £250 to the West Lancs Benevolent Fund during its installation meeting. This event, attended by members of the Lodge and the Provincial Team, was marked by a warm and celebratory atmosphere. The newly installed Worshipful Master, Paul Smith, received congratulations from the Provincial Grand Master, Keith Alan Beardmore, who also acknowledged the Lodge’s generosity.
The donation to Zoë’s Place reflects the Lodge’s ongoing commitment to supporting vital community services, ensuring that children with life-limiting conditions receive the care they need, whilst this act of generosity also highlights the Lodge’s dedication to philanthropy, reinforcing the Masonic tradition of charitable giving. It also serves as a reminder of how local organizations can make a meaningful impact on the lives of those in need.
